Here comes the ring I made last weekend at Rita Marie Ross's soldering workshop in Austin. She is such a good teacher that made me do such an art almost totally on my own! This was my first time with hands on the heavy duty equipments in an artist's studio. I had really good time and I'm so glad to have learned so many things. Thank you Rita!

New backdrop trials... Black
Here I tried to use black backdrop and see how it would turn out to be. For the shiny products, black backdrop might be an awesome choice. But for the other, more colorful and yet not very shiny pieces, it was a bit difficult to adjust all the contrast and exposure. Anyways, here are some more inspirations from Heidi Boyd's book "Wired Beautiful".
Latest creations of mine
I have been making some new pieces and here I'd like to share them with you. More detailed information on each project can be found at my webpage Guldem's Handmade Jewelry.
Inspired by Heidi Boyd
I saw the tutorial for this ring in a book called Wired Beautiful written by Heidi Boyd and I fell in love with it. It is reserved for my mother in law as a gift for her soon coming birthday!
Thanks to Heidi Boyd for such a beautiful book and the inspiration!
