Terror, Birthday and more....

Life is strange! You never know what's waiting for you in a few minutes, even seconds. I condemn the acts of the Norway shooter and feel so sorry for all! My prayers go out to the families and victims of the bomb explosion and shootings. Norway is a beautifully peaceful country and there is also freedom of speech! No one has the right to even think about destroying this! No persons, no groups, no religions, no ethnicity or no race!

Norway Has Become One Heart!

Today is my birthday and got an awesome birthday cake from my beloved husband in the morning! Yeah, that was my first morning birthday cake and I am so grateful. He is such a beautiful and loving person! I love you, Thomas.

And here are some more jewelry pieces I made in the passing weeks.

My Mother's Design, My Handwork

Here comes the earrings I had in mind for a while now! The design belongs to my mom, and handcrafting is mine. I used copper sheet metal and sterling silver earwires with silver plated rivets to make this pair. The patina look is made by me by heating the copper. It's amazin what one can do just by a hammer and some heat!

Yet Another Riveted Necklace

I'm full of inspiration today! Here is another version of the riveted wire wrapped necklace I had made previously.

The pendant is made of glass and the rest is copper wire. This is my design, and it seems to become my signature design!

New Metalwork

I'm very excited to put out these photos for display! I've been working with this necklace and bracelet for a while. Both have been really time consuming, but the results are stunning.

The necklace is made of silver plated wire and a donut pendant. The connections are riveted connections. And the ending is a silver plated chain.

The bracelet is made of silver clay and copper sheet metal by using the riveting technique. I polished the whole thing with a couple of files, burnisher and polishing cloth since my flex shaft is not useable in the US (230 Volts).

I enjoyed the process of making these a lot! If you are interested in the bracelet, it's on sale on my Etsy page.

Chainmaille in a Barrel Weave!

I love chainmaille jewelry. Here is a cuff like bracelet (I said cuff like because it is sturdy, snug) I've recently made using barrel weave.
